SERVICE DAY PROCEDURES

  • BVICE DAY PROCEDURES
  • Please make sure your container is visible and accessible on pickup day. Place it curbside by 6 a.m. Snow removal in front of containers is the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Ashes, sawdust, styrofoam "peanuts," offal and animal wastes (including litter) must be contained in a tied paper or plastic bag.
  • Do not place hot ashes, rocks, dirt, sod or concrete in your container. Cool ashes at least 72 hours before bagging for disposal.
  • Notify our office if you are moving or stopping service, since the account remains your responsibility until we are notified otherwise.
  • Vacation credits are given for a minimum of one month if our office is notified in advance. A restart charge is applied upon resuming service.
  • There is an additional charge for extra trash. Extra trash is any material over the "water level" (even with the top rim) of the container or material placed for collection beside your container.
  • When using your own containers, please limit the size of garbage cans or bags to 32 gallons. The use of 45 gallons is not permitted due to Cal-Osha requirements and insurance regulations.
  • The customer is responsible for the clean up due to loose pets and/or wild animals. Any items left beside or around the containers not intended for disposal remains with the customer in the event of loss.
  • In the event of non-payment, the Company reserves the right to discontinue service with prior 15 day written notice. Further, in order to resume service, past due charges must be paid in full in addition to a restart charge and three months service in advance for residentials. For commercials, past due charges must be paid in full in addition to a bin delivery charge (if applicable) and one month's service in advance.
  • The Company has available an agreement for customers who would like service on roads not maintained by the county, agreeing to indemify the Company and its employees from any damages, claims or other liability whatsoever caused by the attempt to maintain service.
